{no bake} chocolate chip peanut butter balls

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite healthy snacks. They make a great afternoon snack {or even an on-the-go breakfast} and are delicious enough to feel like a dessert! My kids all love them and this is a little pick me up snack that I can feel good about giving them.

These little balls are totally delicious! They are full of good for you ingredients so you can enjoy them without guilt!

{no bake} chocolate chip peanut butter balls

  • 1 cup regular rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Just dump everything in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes and then roll into 1 inch balls. I use a melon ball scoop to keep a uniform size. This recipe makes about 24 balls depending on the size and keep fresh in the fridge for a week. That’s that!  Totally easy and totally delish. They seriously taste like the peanut butter bonbons I make at Christmas but without any of the guilt! My boys love to help measure the ingredients and form them into balls. Great activity for kiddos in the kitchen!

Since these are no bake, you really can’t mess them up! Play around with the ingredients and find a combo that you love. Add vanilla instead of cinnamon. Try white chocolate or butterscotch chips. In the fall I {LOVE} making these with cinnamon chips and pumpkin pie spice. Talk about delish!!

Do you have a no bake ball recipe? What do you include in yours?

  1. These sound SOO yummy! My husband and I both have a sweet tooth, and I am a carb addict, so I'm always looking for ways to "healthify" the sweet things we like. This is a great idea; I will be making these very soon!!

    1. I was totally off of all sugar for the month of April and when I reintroduced natural sweeteners, like honey, back in I couldn't wait to make these! They tasted like a sweet dessert!

  5. no bake sounds good to me. My eldest son had a craving for peanut butter cookies last night so I made some. First batch completely burned but then the second batch was better - they're gone so I guess they were fine. :) Will be adding this to my todo list.

    1. Yummy to the cookies! These are great for the no bake part. Don't have to worry about burning {which I have a tendency to do!} Hope you enjoy them!
      Blessings to you!
